during the difficult process of scraping off innumerable layers of paint on an old window, an intriguingly baroque retelling of previous colors emerged.  a democratic depiction of all presents.  a collage of those which do not belong together.  fittingly, the window - a simultaneous view of multiplicitous and incompatible time - became the central frame for another temporal kaleidoscope of distinct identities, a closet.
